With the highway construction extending to the mountainous area, there are more and more high side slope through cuts, and such bracing and retaining measures as prestressed anchor stay anti-slide pile are popular used, while its monitoring and safety evaluation is much necessary and indispensable, which is not only related to the construction safety in the process of engineering construction, but also directly affects the highway operational safety. However, so far there is few such studies on safety performance appraisal.The study surrounds the three typical high side slope through cut road sections with prestressed anchor stay on Mianguang Expressway, making safety performance monitoring and appraisal, through monitoring get the quantitative evaluation of the prestressed anchor stay's security; carry out study on prestressed anchor stay security evaluation index as well.By investigation of the geological environmental condition of the engineering zone, collect the prestressed anchor stay design and construction data, find out and analyze the destroy condition by deformation during the construction process, make certain the major contents of the monitoring work, establish the monitoring program and get it performed.Following the confirmed monitoring program, monitor the prestressed anchor stay's rope force and pile body's displacement on the field. Based on the monitoring data, in line with side slope immergence and geological investigation results, give preliminary appraisal to the security condition of the monitored side slope.Through calculation of the side slope's slip thrust along the underlying sliding face and lateral initiative rock's pressure, get the prestressed anchor stay's design load, using experiential formula method carry out the simulation calculation to the anchor stay, and compare the simulation calculation results with the monitoring data for analysis, preliminarily evaluate the security of theanchor stay.By numerical value simulation calculation of the through cuts side slopestress field and strain field at the typical section, further discuss thecharacteristic of stress field and displacement field of the through cut, analyzethe development trend and position of the deformation destroy, resulting in aregular understanding of the side slope's integral stability.Based on the above work, evaluate the security of the prestressedanchor stay.Through field monitoring and theoretical calculation analysis, this Paper discuss the factors that might influence the high slope security of the through cut, the most contents of the monitoring work and the security evaluation index, study the design theory of the prestressed anchor stay, preliminarily establish the prestressed anchor stay's security evaluation index, withholding a very important realistic meaning to the future mountainous area highway's design, construction, operation and administration.
