Study On Safety Evaluation Of Road Passenger Transportation Enterprise In Suzhou

Today road traffic safety is a serious social problem which all the countries is facing, theroad traffic safety in China is becoming increasingly serious with the development ofdomestic economy and the rapid growth of motor vehicles. Road traffic safety problem hasbecome one of the important factors that affect social public security.We must improve themechanism of road passenger transportation enterprises, and strengthen the management ofproduction safety, and comprehensively improve the level of traffic accident prevention andothers, under this situation of road traffic safety. Perfect road passenger transportationenterprise safety comprehensive evaluation system should be established with scientificanalyses of current situation of road passenger transportation enterprises for providingcorresponding solutions of road passenger transport enterprises’ safety in productionoperations.This dissertation analyses four aspects such as driver, vehicle, road and environment tofind out the internal and external causes of traffic accidents based on the large number ofrelevant researches and the China’s road accident statistics of2012. It has established anindex system which including driver, vehicle and management to evaluate those enterprisesunder the guidance of the principles, the characteristics of road passenger transportationenterprise safety production, and the research trends of safety evaluation. The dissertationdetermines the weights of secondary and tertiary indexes. The indexes have beenquantitatively screened and qualitative changed. The comprehensive evaluation index systemhas been successfully established. In combination with the practical situation of roadpassenger transportation enterprise operation and the actual operability, it calibrates thestandards of evaluation level.Finally, based on the field investigation of some passenger transportation enterprises inSuzhou, the dissertation evaluates the safety management of those enterprises by using thesafety evaluation index system. It put forward some feasible risk management measures andsuggestions according to the evaluation results. This case shows that the evaluation methodand the implementation of the model has good practicability and feasibility. The evaluation system has certain guiding significance and application value for the road passengertransportation enterprises of Suzhou.
