Study On The Expand Capability Of The Yechi Railroad

Although the Ye-chi Railroad (YRC) is an important channel connecting the Inner Mongolia with Liaoning, its position and role are not prominent in the railway network in our country because the local economic development lags behind. In recent years, with the national energy strategy focused on shifting westwards and the implementation of the western development strategy, as well as carrying out the project of revitalizing the Northeast industrial base, the position and role of the YRC are greatly improved in the railway network and more and more prominent in its regional economic development. But the technical equipment of the present lines can not meet the demands of the transportation development, as well as national economic development. In this paper, I applied the analysis methods and the principle of the regional transportation to study the issue that the transport capacity in YCR does not match the traffic. The research work mainly includes:For sueeessfully fulfilling this task, firstly acorrect forecast of railway Passenger and freight traffic volume with its direction in the near or far future need to be made out by scientific and proper methord in the course of making a suitable prediction, information concerned the existing rail road such as the main social and economic characters along or within the affee tarea of the railway, the status and function of the line in the national railway network ete.must be collected, and based on these inforfmation a research should be carried out to make clear the current situation and figure out the developing tendency.Secondly technical conditions and operating characteristics should be gathered and processed, the principal factors that affect its long-termdevelopment also be analyzed. Then combining traffic volume predict results with the national and regional developing program , reasonable construct standards are put forward.Finally in according to weak point in current railway, come forth reconstruct seheme.On condition that the capacity expansion program should make full use of the existing facilities, we put forward the program of constructing the second-line on the base of reforming of the present railway and we propose the quality seheme of 4,000 tons pulls , 5,000 tons pulls , and the speed raises to 120km/h, 160km/h. On the base of studying the methods on technological reform of domestic lines. We try applying the phased decision-making approach among many approaches and use the fuzzy decision-making methods to elect the best program in local decision-making, that is, 4,000 tons pulls on double lines at 120km/h speed, reserved for electrification. This program males full use of the present devices and meets all-round demands of passenger and freight transport in long-term, appearing obvious advantages in contrast to other programs on the capacity expansion.This research shows that the reform of this section is of great significance. It not only gets convenient access to the sea through the eastern part of Inner Mongolia, protects the coal supply to Liaoning Province, but also meets the demands of the economic development in Western Liaoning Province and eastern Inner Mongolia as well as the demands of energy to improve people's living standards. It also constitutes a good base for the revitalization of Northeast China's economic development strategy.
