The inductance is shortened from loops that are insulated from each other in insulation tube. but this paper is not aim at those little inductance used for surging gripping and filter with its high frequency obstructing and low frequency passing character. But the large inductance coil is drive mechanism in the rotor and is in a wide range of applications in a large rotating machinery such as turbine compressors generators fans.and is the key components in the chemical, petrochemical, power, steel, nuclear power plants and other industries.The inductor is used in the large-scale equipment which characteristics is high-speed, high flow, high pressure, the complex of structure,when a little inappropriate happens in the design, manufacture, installation, maintenance , and other aspects of running will result in run failure. Therefore,it has importance meaning to detect the inductor fault. It can avoid the occurrence of accidents, transition of equipment maintenance system from promote preventive maintenance to predictive maintenance. By making the life of parts and components are brought into full play and to extend the maintenance cycle to enhance economic efficiency. However excess maintenance will due to the impact of the work and less maintenance due to failure to detection of the fault early.For those issues condition monitoring and fault diagnosis technology develop abroad also our country to develop their own fault diagnosis technology.This subject is an exploration of the field.First study on the basic principles of inductance measurement such as alternating current bridge measurements resonant method and voltammetry discussion then decide to use the voltammetry method more reasonable. On this basis do a systematic design including hardware circuit design and software programming. Hardware circuit design include sinusoidal signal generated impedance-voltage conversion circuit, phase-sensitive detector circuits, analog-to-digital conversion circuitry, FPGA and MCU control circuit.and supplemented by other man-machine interface and system power circuit.All of those units combinate automatic switch, electric discharge examination. inductance measuring unit. Getting the correct parameter values from a large number of theoretical calculations and circuit debugging.Completed with the A/D conversion, signal the emergence of standard incentives and inductance measurement data acquisition. The entire system is controled by main control unit MCU and the FPGA co-ordination to Control relays to do mode switch discharge testing the measurement of inductance, inter-related data communications circuit.In the software design has Atmel chips 89ls52 programming and EPlC3 based on Altera's Verilog HDL chip design. Prototype test results show that equipment relative error is less than 3.6%, many times measuring for the relative standard deviation was 0.07%, error analysis meets the requirements.In addition.the design has the advantages of simple structure, high integration and strong expansion.
