In current society, the air plane has evolved to be the indispensable transportation implement and the development of aviation which depend on the planning and management of the aerodrome suggests the economical levels of different countries and districts in a large extent. Therefore, the assessment of aerodrome obstacle free space's condition is essential to the airport's planning construction and maintaining management in order to insure the aviation's classification and safety factor for the future or current airports. Aerodrome obstacle free space(Air Clear Zones, ACZ) is the area which is designed around the airstrip and surroundings to constrain the height of the obstacles for the sake of the security of taking-off and landing. The area of Aerodrome obstacle free space concludes the runway strip and obstacle free zones, and the size and range of ACZ are according to the parameter of aviation index while the status of Aerodrome obstacle free space settle the aviation's classification.This thesis provides the detailed calculation method for the areas of civil aerodrome obstacle free space that based on the definition of obstacle's restriction area which is composed of approach, transition, inside horizon, taper, inside approach, inside transition, retake-off and taking off-ascending components after researching on"Skills and criterions of Aviation District in Civil airport"(MH, 50001-2006). This calculation method achieves the formula for calculating the vertex of obstacle free zones after combining user-defined geometry coordinating system and builds the index mathematic model for civil aerodrome. Besides, this article presents the detailed formula for converting from the user-defined geometric coordinating system to the geographic coordinating system in ArcGlobe before designing the three-dimensional analyzing model for civil air clearance. In addition, the article analyzes the visual three-dimensional skills in ArcGIS Globe and improves it through the technology of landform building-model in ArcGlobe and substantiality building-model together with the transferring OpenGL components. Last but not least, the article researches the testing on visualization and spatial analysis on ArcGlobe and civil aerodrome three-dimensional air clearance analysis model by double evolution on ArcGIS Engine. The article provides the approach for applying air clearance three-dimensional analysis model into the planning construction and maintaining management of the airports.
