In this paper, a matching analysis of 1.5L gasoline engine with turbocharger was studied, and the parameter optimization of MPITCIVVT (multi-point inject turbocharging gasoline engine with variable valve timing) was crarried out, meanwhile the study of part load condition in the GDITCIVVT (gasoline direct inject turbocharging gasoline engine with variable valve timing) gasoline engine was completed.Firstly, the working process simulation of 1.5L MPI (multi-point inject ) gasoline engine was accomplished. The GDI(gasoline direct inject) and GDIVVT models were built on the basis of MPI simulation, and the simulating cralculation and analysis of both GDI and GDIVVT models were finished, the result showed that the dynamicral performance of the optimized model was improved, while the fuel economy remained still. Secondly, a matching analysis of 1.5L MPI engine with turbocharger was done, the inlet/exhaust valve timing and the dimensions of inlet pipe were optimized to determine the related parameters. As the results indicrated, the dynamicral performance and fuel economy of the turbocharged model were largely improved, but the exhaust temperature increased. Lastly, a matching analysis of 1.5L GDI engine which was matched with turbocharger was completed, the values of BMEP and BSFC were cralculated under various throttle opening and inlet/exhaust valve timing, and the inlet/exhaust valve timing of different throttle opening and engine speed was optimized. As showed from the result, the exhaust temperature was higher than expectation, and the working line was close to the surge line under part load condition, therefore the matching strategy should be reselected. The simulation and analysis of 1.5L gasoline engine in this paper was combined with related bench test, and the simulation result was ideally consistent with the test. The result of the study has important directive significrance for the turbocharger matching and performance analysis of gasoline engine.
