Highway Landscape Design And Engineering Practice Analysis

Transportation always contributes a lot for economic construction and social development. So, the research of the relations between transportation and economy, environment to realize a sustainable development of them is the basis of the sustainable development of regional economies, and also can promote the importance of the ecological environment in highway infrastructure construction projects in China. The construction and operation of highway will destroy natural and human landscape, cause environmental pollution, ecological crisis and unfavorable effects on vision etc. It has been the consensus shared by highway decision makers, designers and builders that the systemic planning and design of landscape along the highway in the course of construction will not only improve the efficiency on highway construction, operation and maintenance, but also alleviate unfavorable effects on landscape and environment, and finally achieve sustainable development of highway construction.On the basis of the comparative analysis, this paper provides the theory foundation for the planning of highway landscape. Besides, the paper researches and provides the principles, aims, methods and main points for the design of highway line type, the slopes of the roadbeds, concrete paving, protection projects and greenery, and also puts forward some philosophies and research suggestions for highway design in China.
