The Expression Of Folk Art In Urban Park

Urban park plays an important role in embodiment of city characteristics and exploration and expression its history and culture. Fork art, as one part of characteristic culture of a city, can form distinctive park sight and induce resonance if it is felicitously expressed. However, people generally prejudice against fork art since subjective and objective reasons. In urban park construction, exploration of folk culture and art are easily neglected, and sometimes it has some problem in expression of folk culture and fork art.According to the situation, this article started from discussing the definition of both folk art and urban park, emphasized the folk art of great value in the city characteristic, as well as the city park's important role in expression the history and culture of the city. Based on this point of view , the article elaborated the practical significance of folk art expression in urban park. The paper then elaborated the depth of expression, which folk art in different park green space type was taken on in the planning level. Among these, the paper summarized the current problems in the construction of folk-lore theme park. Some necessary and exercisable design principles were brought forward.After dividing the folk art in pattern ,the author found folk art elements obtained from specific regional production and life process, which are composed of"the thing","the event". These two factors can be used as the elements of park design. Then based on lots of representative case analysis, some approach and thoughts of folk art expression were discussed. The dissertation not only enriched design theme of green land of urban park, but also provided some thoughts and technique.
