Facing the tremendous energy and environmental pressures, electric vehicles have gradually become focus of governments and car manufacturers. As we all know, High Frequency Charger has low power factor in grid side and causes severe harmonic pollution. However, eliminating harmonic pollution and improving power factor are a very important research task in the field of power electronics.The research in this paper is part of the supporting project of Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Commission. And the project is to create a favorable social environment for the development of electric vehicle and to lay a foundation for Electric vehicle industry.A solution of VSR base on SVPWM and double closed loop control system of voltage and current is presented in this paper. It can implement sinusoidal current control, unit power factor control in grid side and DC output voltage constant .This dissertation designs main circuit and builds up the model in MATLAB/Simulink. A full solution of hardware and software design of PWM control system base on DSP 56803 and controller base on MC9S12D64 is presented in detail. The result of experiment shows that efficiency is higher than 99%, power factor is higher than 99% and THD is low than 5% in the full load. It satisfies the design requirements and it validates the feasibility of the topology.
