Setting an asphalt concrete function layer between the cement concrete surface layer and the base course can improve the contact condition of the slab and the base course, reduce the dynamic impact of the vehicle load, improve the property of erosion resistance of the base course, and eliminate the distress of interlayer between the slab and the base course. It is of great significance to the service life extension and property improvement of the cement concrete pavement to analyze the mechanical response of pavement structure with function layer, and especially to advance structure design methods according to the base type. The thesis has analyzed the contact behavior and failure procedure of the interface between the cement concrete slab and base course. Interface contact elements are applied to simulate different interface in the three-dimensional models. It is found that the interlayer affects load stress of pavement greatly. Arranging the parameter combination according to the uniform design method, and then analyze the load stress by three-dimensional finite element method, finally obtain the practical formula of load stress of the rigid base and semi-rigid base course of cement concrete pavement structure with function layer by regression method. Formula of axle load conversion and fatigue stress coefficients of semi-rigid and rigid base course are obtained respectively by fatigue equations and formula of load stress. The thermal stress of cement concrete pavement with function layer is analyzed by three-dimensional finite element method, and the impacts of different parameters are analyzed. The curling stress and swell-shrinking stress are analyzed under different interlayer type, and elicit the result that the interface is of significant effect to swell-shrinking stress and is of less effect to curling stress. A probabilistic method of structure design of rigid and semi-rigid base course of concrete pavement with function layer is finally advanced based on fore mentioned results.
