| Cement concrete pavement has a wide range of applications in our country, whose skidresistance performance is very importante to the safety traffic.To evaluate its skidding resistance performance objectively and accurately,is an important component for analysis of road safety and road management ,which is of great significance for the conservation and management as well.This study discusses the mechanism of friction between the tire and the pavement grounded on the texturing methods of cement concrete pavement which use widely in our country,then analyze the factors impacting on the anti-skiding performance of cement concrete pavement through the laboratory tests and the field tests,thus conduct a comprehensive exposition on the existing cement concrete pavement which uses a single index called texture depth to evaluate the resistance of cement concrete pavement.A new device is invented based on studying the advantages and disadvantages of existing anti-sliding devices in our country , this device can test the friction of laboratory concrete specimen and field pavement surfaces,then the correlation between this device and the other equipments is established after a large number of experiments.Finally evaluate the skid resistance of the pavement using macrotexture and microtexture based on an overall consideration of various factors and determin the scope of texture depth and friction coefficient. Then calculate the requisite value of cement concrete pavements with a standard value of IFI initially using the PIARC model. |
