In the whole society in the creation of a "harmonious society" today, barrier-free design has increasingly become a hot study on urban roads. From 1974 to the United Nations made clear the "barrier-free environment" concept, the design of barrier-free home and abroad for studies has been in the ascendant. Urban road crowd is an important channel of access, different groups of people to their different needs, it decided to direct people to the urban road travel in safety and comfort. Therefore, the design of urban roads, including barrier-free design, it has set a higher and more reasonable.First of all, the subject of this analysis of the current design of urban road barrier-free status, summed up the analysis of China's urban road barrier-free design. This was followed by an analysis of persons with disabilities, Children, the elderly, weak, sick people, and so on the current situation and development trend of China's cities through the barrier-free road-building and China's "people-oriented, and create a harmonious society" policy, and so on, re-definition of barrier-free Design theory. Analysis of the behavior characteristics of the different groups and needs, and so on the road in the city will be divided into two groups of people with visual impairments, physical disabilities and language barriers, and analysis of the different groups on the different needs of urban roads. Then, put forward a road barrier-free facilities in the city of optimization. According to the crowd barriers to the classification of the concept of barrier-free design, urban roads in the various point, line, surface for barrier-free facilities have been set up on the blind road system optimization, and again on the detailed design of a perceived blind, made and designed with deceleration Blind and blind pedestrian crossing, traffic lights, ramp, step, barrier-free vehicles, traffic signs, such as optimized. Finally, the use of a specific example of engineering application, compared to the optimization of pre-and post-barrier-free facilities, and to analyze the feasibility of new methods.
