The Human-Oriented Improvements In The Color Design Of The Urban Public Transport Facilities

With the development of the society and the urban expansion, cities in our country are now dealing with the serious problems in public transport, which has priority in effective solutions to the traffic problems throughout the world. Public transport facilities are the basic foundation of the public transport. Therefore they need to be human-oriented and improved from time to time to meet people's needs, most of all, colors are one of the facilities' features, and they play an important part in public transport. This paper focuses on the problems in the color design of the public transport facilities, and also attempts to work out new solutions to improve public transport facilities from the perspective of the color design, and study some improvements already exist and finally suggest some principles of color design both in macroscopic and microcosmic views.
