Coarse aggregate is the main compose parts of road cement concrete, its technology properties have very prominence influences to the pavement performance of concrete, but there is few study home and abroad, besides there are no in deed contact with the pavement performance of concrete. The paper research the connection between pavement performance of road cement concrete and technology properties of coarse aggregate, and both of them is connected, also the guides, which is very science and precision, are offered to the compose designs of road concrete. The conclusion can guide the design and construction of road cement concrete, finish the compose design of present criterion, have very important theories and applications value.Base on the in-depth investigate, and analyze study results of correlation field home and abroad, also design the systemic plan of test, transit abundant test analyze in room, there are systemic research found on coarse aggregates to the influence of pavement performance of road cement concrete, and build the relation between the technology properties of coarse aggregates and the pavement performance of road concrete. The parallel test of road concrete is carried up, which compare to different lithology and different sort of coarse aggregates, indicate the connection rules between lithology and sort of aggregates to the pavement performance of road concrete, also after analyzing obtain relativity between maximum nominal size of coarse aggregate with the pavement performance of road concrete, and commend the range of maximum nominal size of coarse aggregate to the different rank roads. Research also study the effect to the pavement performance of road concrete based on different content of flat and elongated particles, and advance the restrained scope of content of flat and elongated particles to the road concrete, found on crushing strength test of coarse aggregate, the crushing strength test criterion of design and construction is revised, and after test to the pavement performance, the crushing strength scope of coarse aggregate to different rank road is commended. And last, based on climate character of different rank road, link with the pavement performance of coarse aggregate, corresponding technology criterion of coarse aggregate is attained.
