With the fast development of automotive electronic technology, the electronic degree of car is more and more high. The traditional wring method is far from the requirement. How to make use of bus technology to reduce in-car wire is extremely important to make the car control more humanized and intelligent.This thesis mainly researched on car's light and car's window control system, main work as follows:(1) The advantages and characteristics of CAN were discussed in detail. Data Link Layer and Physical Layer in hierarchy structure of CAN bus was described. The message, frame format, principle and characteristics of CAN bus were also researched in detail in this thesis.(2) The thesis discussed the car's lights and windows control system based on CAN bus. The system overcome the drawback of traditional control of automobile's lights and windows. According to design principle, the thesis proposed a design project, designed a hardware circuit of each control unit. This thesis analyzed the malfunctions which may happen in the car light control and realized car's light cue. Through the analysis and test of the car's window, the thesis put forward a method of guarding against window blocking. This thesis also researched on the feasibility of using optical fiber to replace the twisted-pair as the transmission medium of CAN bus, and proposed a Fiber-CAN interface and proved it by experiment.Then the design philosophy and main flow charts of the software for the system are presented.(3) We debugged the automotive light and window control platform which is set up in the laboratory, and the result shows that the control strategies are good.
