| Reactive Powder Concrete, also known as RPC, is a kind of new concrete based on composite material that has been developed by the French Bouygues laboratory in 1993. It has the property of super high compressive strength, high durability and high toughness. Because of the improvement in fineness and reactivity, it is called Reactive Powder Concrete.Now RPC study has become a new research focus in International engineering materials field. As a new type of concrete, RPC can not only achieve the ultra-high compressive strength, it also has the high flexural strength. And brittleness of ordinary high-performance concrete has been overcome effectively. This project carried out a micro experimental analysis and mechanism research of RPC material. from the following aspects: RPC sample preparation,shaping,maintaining, and some periment.The main content and result of the study are as follows:The RPC ingredient proportion has been acquired through the the closest packing theory. Under the conditions of room temperature, compressive strength reached 120MPa, Flexural strength reached 18.4MPa. Under the conditions of steam, compressive strength reached 216.5MPa, flexural strength reached 25.4MPa. RPC has good performance of imperme ability. By 28d contraction test, shrinkage value 199u has been gained. RPC is not easy to crack even in the binding condition. |
