At present, design method on retaining structure of railway subgrade is facing the change from traditional general safety factor method to limit state design method in China, and systematic limit state design expression of retaining structure under different conditions needs to build. There has been research about limit state design method of sheet pile wall in the general region, which is an important form of retaining structure of railway subgrade, but there is no research about sheet pile wall in the earthquake region. This paper is for the limit state design expression of sheet pile wall under different seismic intensity.In this paper, from limit state design method of sheet pile wall in the general region, the method of sheet pile wall under different conditions has been studied in the earthquake region. The main work and achievements of this paper are as follows:Frist, collecting the domestic and foreign related standards and different industry research data, and using the pseudo-static method analyse stress of sheet pile wall in the earthquake region, with establishing the limit state equations of it. Then applying Fortran language to write the reliability index calculation program of sheet pile wall in the earthquake region, calculating the reliability index of sheet pile wall which were designed acooding to the current standard under different seismic intensity and foundation types, and putting forward recommended values of the target reliability index. According to the target reliability index of sheet pile wall in the earthquake region, using general separation method calculate resistance and load partial coefficient of sheet pile wall under different seismic intensity and foundation types. After that, the partial coefficients of sheet pile wall was tested in the earthquake region and the limit state design expression of it was established in different conditions. Finally, applying FLAC 3D software to calculate and analyse the displacement of pile top, and getting change regularity of displacement of pile top in different seismic intensity.
