Based on the report of the subject "Testing Study on Bearing Properties of Pile Foundation in Xigeda-Rock", and associated with actual testing data of piles in Yonglang, this paper promotes the research of horizontal bearing properties of cast-in-place pile in Xigeda-Rock. The main jobs are as follows.Firstly, according to the actual testing data of piles in Yonglang, the author summarizes the achievements of testing, and analyses properties of bearing capability and distortion of single pile under horizontal load in Xigeda-Rock, and finds that the soil pressure distributing on the side of pile is similar to that in the common soil layer. Secondly, some calculation methods and research results of mechanical characteristics of single pile under horizontal load are summarized. Thirdly, for the sake of clarifying the properties of bearing capability of pile under horizontal load in Xigeda-Rock, the author gains the curve of stress and distortion of pile by anti-analysis method, and comes up with the soil pressure function. Lastly, the properties of bearing capability of pile under horizontal load are analyzed basing on the calculating results of finite element method software of ANSYS. The stress and distortion of pile is believable, but the soil pressure distributing on the side of pile is different from the testing distribution. Therefore, the author suggest that the soil pressure should be calculated by quadratic differential of pile moments function.
