Study On The Load Value Of Chassis Dynamometer By Sliding Test

At present, vehicle fuel consumption measures mainly by the fuel flowmeter in our country. This measurement exist more questions,such as detection equipment not easy to install, existence of security risks. Another, there is no corresponding standard, regulation to restrict for large trucks in fuel consumption. So there is no way to evaluate the fuel consumption of large trucks and reach the purpose of energy-saving and emission reduction. For these reasons, studying on the load value of chassis dynamometer by coastdown-test to achieve the road resistance have some practical significance and practical value.This paper obtains the vehicle's force balance equation by analyzing coastdown condition on the road ,establish the mathematical model about coastdown resistance ,separate the mathematical model about the coefficient of rolling resistance and air resistance and amend the mathematical model.AIso analyze the factors that effect coastdown resistance in order to avoid the effects resulted from the factors when designing experiment and disposing data.Based on the mathematical model for the establishment of solving of running resistance, design of the road test norms according to GB/T12534-1990" Motor vehicles-General rules of road test method". And in accordance with GB11642-89" Measuring method for pollutants from light-duty vehicle Measuring method for emissions of crankcase gaseszipvwlemsr," determine the test data to be correct or not.Select some vehicles have the coastdown~test,and dispose the data of test results in detail.Provides the necessary basis for the chassis dynamometer simulated load.By analyzing the simulation principle of chassis dynamometer identified the basic principles of resistance. And get that the large vehicle make sure the load value only through actual coastdown-test.Through coastdown-test on chassis dynamometer, analyze of the possible factors of error in the loading process, and proposed a simple and effective solution. ANKAI bus as an example, calculate it of the load values based on the analysis.
