The slot effect,end effect,discrete distribution of permanent magnets etc derived from the characteristics of the PMLSM's structure,results in the output driving force fluctuation, which seriously affects its servo performance. Research and develop the linear motor with excellent driving characteristic, will cast a profound significance for our development of domestic equipment manufacturing industry.In this paper, equivalent layered analysis model of PMLSM was built by reasonable hypothesis.As from basic electromagnetic theory, the magnetic flux density distributive expressions of the region focused on and the electromagnetic force expressions of PMLSM were deduced based on the analysis model. And then, a parametric analysis model was established on the FEA, part of the essential structure parameters influencing the thrust were discussed and discrete optimized, the output detent force of one cycle was calculated. The detent force combined with structure characters was analysed, based on the analytic result, the thought of twice position shift and phase shift was put forward, a new tubular combined linear motor was created, and verified the advantages of weakening the thrust fluctuation through finite element simulation.At last, the control mathematical model of PMLSM has been studied preliminarily, under the relative static two-phase coordinate system of mover, the mathematical model of direct thrust control was built, and used the Matlab/simulink software as simulation platform, put up a DTC control system of PMLSM, simulated and verified the control algorithm response characteristics and feasible.
