Our country builds arch dams in large scale after the foundation of new china, however this dam style of masonry-arch dam become very popular. To the end of the 20th century, the masonry-arch dam accounts for 90% in the national arch dam that the height is lower than 70 meters. It played huge role in bringing the benefit and abolishing the harm, meanwhile, promoting and ensuring economic development forcefully. But, the majority have already continuous running 20-30 years so far and have been in vary degree of aging state that have even threaten the safe operation of the dam and impacted on project benefit. However, the current definitive evaluation method of aging damages in masonry-arch dam has already been unable to satisfy the need of project. Therefore, it is very necessary that combine with present specification and actual project on the basis of previous research and then built an evaluation system which considers damming material construction technology operation state and geology structure and many other factors generally. The main contents are as follows:(1) On the basis of deeply investigation analytical that through developing state of masonry-arch dam in our country, running current situation as well as already exiting evaluation method, we put forward ideas that through some aspects such as crack, leakage, abutment stability ,mortar corrosion, aging of concrete etc. According to these aspects, we have ascertained the evaluation factor assembles of damage aging of masonry-arch dam.(2) Especially, we put forward that add the seepage steady evaluation and structural safety evaluation to the factor assembles in order to enrich the whole evaluation system and reflect to aging state of masonry-arch dam more scientifically and reasonably from aging appearance quality to inner change of seepage stress, from presentation to nature.(3) We study and bring up the evaluation of aging damage in masonry-arch dam on the basis of multi-level fuzzy comprehensive assessment. Studying the relationship and relative importance between every factor on index system and ascertaining the weight of index through applying analytical hierarchy process. Measuring quantitative index and progressing general evaluation index system through fuzzy math theory. Testing the evaluation index system through an engineering case, validating the veracity of the index system and evaluation method.
