Electronic controlled inline pump (ECIP) fuel injection system is one of the solutions that can meet the III emission regulation.It has a outstanding advantage that it can be applied without many structural changes in engine comparing with other fuel injection system. So it is a fuel injection system that suits National conditions. This thesis mainly researches electronic control technology based on electronic controlled inline pump, with methods of analysis and experiment, mainly focus on the high-speed solenoid valve drive, control strategy and some others, making some progress. And finally the designed controller can perform well in the test bench,and that lay the foundation for promoting the injection system of ECIP. The major achievements of this research could be summarized as follows:Firstly, based on operating principle of fuel injection control system of diesel engine, and making intensive study of the transfer disciplinarian of high pressure fuel in pump-pipe-nozzle system, analyzing the influencing factors of electronic control unit(ECU),and then the conclusion that high-speed solenoid valve is a very important factor in the control system can be concluded. A new driver module with dual voltage automatically switching and two phases PWM current-limiting control is designed based on the qualitative analysis of high-speed solenoid valve. Then a number of contrast experiments are conducted. The results give the influence rule how valve voltage, the high voltage acting time, frequency of PWM , energy loss absorb circuit and some other parameters working on the current of valve.Secondly, the overall control solution is confirmed based on deep analysis of principle and characteristic of electronic control technology for diesel engine. A low cost but multifunctional control system made up of multi-CPU is designed.Thirdly, the software structure is planned, and adopting modular design methods, the primary program is accomplished and debugged using Keil C compiling environment.Fourthly,a great deal of bench tests have been done with designed ECU,and control system performance and drive quality have been tested with a mount of experimental data and results show that the solenoid valve has a fast response, system performance is well and control method is reasonable.After that, the main electronic control system of ECIP is successfully finished which lay good foundation for follow resercch.
