Survey On Subgrade And Pavement Disease Of Tonghuang Road And Study On The Maintenance Measures

With the highway extending to mountainous area, people pay more and more attention to road disease prevention and maintenance measures in mountainous area. According to the first highway into mountainous area in Shaanxi province- tonghuang highway, we made a complete investigate for present situation of tonghuang highway. Investigated the present situation of roadbed , pavement and drainage system, based on the analysis of datum, summing up main disease of the mountain roads, analyzing the cause reason and effect element about various disease, studied the mountain road's prevention and maintenance measures, some pertinence advices were put forward, it can take reference for after engineering construction or maintenance in other similar areas.The main content of the paper were described as follows:1. Investigated present situation of road drainage facility and analysis data , the analysis result was all right. The main diseases were the mortar flagstone damage and silt. Studying the maintenance and prevention measures based on analysis disease cause and gave pertinence maintenance advices and prevention measure.2. Investigated present situation of pavement and analysis data, made a logical estimate for road diseases situation. Rut is main diseases in this road, most section of highway have rut that influenced driving quality and safe. Transverse cracks, the main surface cracking type, which are slight cracks can close in summer. Studying the prevention and maintenance measures based on analysis disease cause and gave pertinence maintenance suggestions and prevention measure.3. Investigated present situation of embankment and analysis data, finding that most embankment stability are very well, main disease is retaining structures, but its almost no effect on embankment stability.
