Axle Load Characteristic Study Of High-grade Highway Vehicle

Since the reform and opening is gone deeper in our country, high-grade highway has been developed rapidly, which promoted the change of the constructer of highway transportation. The surface structure of the road is damaged seriously by great traffic volume and heavy Load which lead to early destruction of the road.Through the vehicle flowrate database in Shandong province,Henan province and Gansu province, the traffic volume and variational situation of six kinds of vehicle types is analyzed. Combined with national research achievement of representative roadway's axle load distribute, the propositional axle load characteristic is given out. Based on finds of investigation of vechicle's axle load, the load coefficient is suggested which is fit for heavy-load road. the three kinds of factors are analyzed which leads to early destruction and is also beneficial to be reference in the structural design of pavement road surface.
