Since October 2007,Ning Chang Zhen Li Expressway has linked to area. Its traffic volume and the proportion of truckshasincreased year by year.The phenomenon of overloading is serious. Under the influence of traffic and environment, pavement rut and damage increases. Damage type has cracks, pits, loose and so on. So, it is necessary to Analysis the relationship of the traffic volume and the axle load characteristics of Ning Chang Zhen Li Expressway. To understand the status of the practical use of the expressway. Analysis of the influence of traffic load on Ning Chang Zhen Li Expressway’s asphalt pavement performance.So as to provide reliable basis for the highway maintenance management.Based on consulting a large number of relevant literature and research results, take use of the data of Ning Chang Zhen Li Expressway pavement management system (PMS) for analyse. First of all, divided Ning Chang Zhen Li Expresswayinto fourteensection, according to the characteristics ofdistribution of hub.Base on the historical traffic statistics of each section, and traffic composition, analysis of axle load spectrum and axial load characteristic.Then, analysis on the Lane coefficient and the coefficient of transverse distribution of the wheel track of Ning Chang Zhen Li Expressway. Due to the big difference of Driving characteristics of different type of vehicles, load distribution on different lanes of traffic axis has the obvious difference.With the analyse of the lane distribution coefficient, we can determine the distribution of axial load in each lane.Finally, For the evaluation of pavement performance of Ning Chang Zhen Li expressway pavement detection data and Pavement performance.Focuses on the statistical analysis of pavement damage foreach lane. According to the parameters of axle load spectrum distribution, lane distribution coefficient and traffic composition, and combined with the impact factors of pavement structure, we get simulation analysis regression with axle load and pavement performance of a typical road section of Ning Chang Zhen Li expressway.We get a model of lane crack development modelwithdifferent dirction and different lanes.Then summarizing the influence of traffic axle load on the pavement service performance.
