The aspherical optical components is that the shape of Optical components is decided by a polynomial,every point at the surface have different radius. The optical system use the aspherical technology can eliminate spherical aberration, astigmatism, curvature of field and reduce the energy losing. Consequently, high-quality images and high-quality optical properties can be attained by using the aspherical optical components. Because of the advantages of aspherical optical components Aspherical lens is an ideal choice for collimating laser, because the aspherical lens can eliminate aberration and improve the precision of collimation.The topic is from one national 863 project, the main contents of this paper have two parts. They are present as:1,The fabrication of aspherical liquid lens, by employing electrostatic forces to manipulate the shape of the liquid polymer lens with real-time measurement , UV light is employed to cure the liquid lens when its surface profile and focal spot are appropriate. The aspherical liquid lens with good imaging performance was fabricated in experiment.2,Base on the fabrication of aspherical liquid lens, a method for the collimating of LD by fabricating the aspherical micro-lens at the LD's window is proposed. And we make the collimating lens that has two different focus by restricting the underside of the droplet so it can collimate two different divergence angles. Compared with traditional methods, the collimating lens fabricated by this method needn't assemblage, that makes the configuration easier, and can improve the efficiency of energy used.
