As the railway passenger car are designed towards high-speed and comfort, the air quality and environmental comfort inside cabin have been paid more and more attention. As the internal cabin environment are affected by solar radiation and passenger radiation, as the internal structure is complex and person changes great, use the experimental method to study the inside airflow organization is difficult and costly. With the development of computer simulation technique, CFD numerical simulation technique for low cost, short cycle and can be repeated, and can relatively accurately reflect the details of fluid flow, has been rapid developed.CFD software requires full-time professional staff, and the engineers should learn application software. Flow field analysis, skilled carried out, takes a lot of energy, so that CFD software did not play out desired results. The program is urgently needed, a quick comparison shows the numerical simulation research platform, visual display of airflow inside air-conditioned situation, facilitate the design engineers to solve practical problems and improve design efficiency.In this paper, software VB6.0 is used to design object-oriented numerical simulation platform for air-conditioning in railway passenger car. The scripting JOU language, based on the secondary development of Fluent, is transferred here by the platform for parameterized modeling and automatic numerical calculating. Post-processing results that show the airflow status inside the compartment intuitively is evaluated under the UIC553 standard .The calculating temperature data and the experimental temperature data of standard measuring point are compared here. The platform is used to aid engineers who are not familiar with the CFD software, to complete numerical simulated calculation better and improve working efficiency in comparing among all new designs. Finally, engineering demo in the real world has been given to check its affectivity and practical value in this platform.This paper has particle practical value for further develop the high speed railway in our nation.
