A linear motor direct drive combined with linear motor and control technology has superiorities over a rotation motor in industrial areas. Therefore, the most important thing is how to control the linear motor. At present the principal strategy adopted to control the linear motor is direct thrust control. Direct thrust control is an alternate current servo driving mode with high dynamic properties. This control method emphasizes control effects on direct force, possesses the advantages of simple structure, responding rapidly and high robust against the disturbances of internal parameter and external system. However, some disadvantages such as big thrust and flux ripples, non-constant inverter switching frequency exist in this system.Above all, this thesis introduces PMLSM and some relative control techniques about fundamental theory and the development process. Furthermore, this thesis presents the primary control methods adopted on PMLSM, establishes the PMLSM mathematical model. At last this thesis expounds field orientation control method and theory based on space voltage vector, and analyzes the theory of direct thrust control and implementation method based on SVPWM.Aiming to the disadvantages of big thrust and flux ripples, the intelligent control methods based on Mamdani and T-S control strategies. Using fuzzy strategy the flux linkage error and thrust error are classified reasonably. The space voltage vector is elected reasonably through the designed respective Mamdani and T-S fuzzy controllers. Direct thrust controller based on respective Mamdani and T-S strategies are established. Based on MATLB/SIMULINK simulation software, the velocity and force response curves obtained from the two kinds of fuzzy controllers are compared. And the problems in Mamdani arithmetic are discussed, and the solutions presented by T-S fuzzy arithmetic are analyzed. The stability of T-S fuzzy model is discussed. At last the problems in T-S controller and suggestions solving these problems are analyzed.
