| For a same design, different structural engineers may choose different structural systems and different structural materials to achieve the same design goals. However, the economic performance of building is often not the same, even exists big difference. Therefore it is necessary to compare and select and optimize the structural materials, structural systems, foundation basic etc., making the structure not only has sufficient bearing capacity, stiffness and seismic performance, etc., but also improve the efficiency of material utilization and reduce material consumption and save costs. In this paper, an engineering design is used as an example to study these issues.(1)Structural features and suitable range of application of major high-rise building structural types, the overall economic efficiency, and the main factors of affecting the selection of high-rise building structural types are analyzed. Various types of foundation basics, structural systems, structural seams are comparatively analyzed, and then based on the reality of this project practice the most safe, economical and suitable foundation basic, structural system, structural seam are determined.(2) Space finite element analysis and design software of multi-story and high-rise building structures SATWE (2007, 7 version) and structural analysis and design software of complicated multi-story and high-rise building analysis PMSAP (generalized conforming wall element model) are applied to analyze the structural behaviors to ensure that structures are reasonable layout and technically feasible, and all control targets of design can meet the specifications.(3) ANSYS is used to analyze the mechanical behavior of beams under the escalator, and its results are compared with the results which are obtained by using PKPM. It shows that the calculations of PKPM are feasible, and somewhat safe. Transfer beams and the upper shear walls are working together, but the scope of working together is within six layers that are on the top of the transfer layer, and then further working together has little effect on the transfer layer. The phenomenon of stress concentration is obvious at hole parts of shear walls of two layers that are on the top of the transfer layer. |
