Cardiovascular disease is one of the major diseases which threat human health,and ECG diagnosis is the major means.It is an important issue for biomedical engineering to study new diagnostic methods and improve the function and practical design of ECG monitor.Based on MSP430,The ECG monitor was designed and it's system was finished.According to the characteristic of human's ECG signal,an excellent ECG signal sampling and transmitting system was designed.Further more,The monitor uses ultralow power 16 bits single chip microcomputer MSP430F149 and SD card to record, analyse the ECG signal. The ECG signal recorded can be sent to Personal Computer by serial RS232 interface or SD card.Meanwhile, the monitor uses LCD to show the ECG waves detected.Based on LabVIEW,the author makes an ECG sample-analysis program which runs at Personal Computer.It can display the wave of the signal sampled,and record the signal in the Computer.Meanwhile.Finally,use multiparameters patient simulator MPS450 designed for ECG acquisition system to verify the system designed, through the LCD screen as well as PC software LabVIEW observation.MPS450 can simulates 36 kinds of arrhythmias, through the host computer software can realize the further study of the diagnosis of arrhythmia.
