Circulating fluidized bed combustion is a new type of combustion technology which has been developed in nearly 20 years .At home and abroad, different capacity fluidized bed boilers are in operation. With the reason that a number of core theories have not been grasped, so that various boilers have all kinds of problem. So the research on the flow of combustion technology is of great significance.Loop seal is a key component in a circulating fluidized bed boiler. In commercial boilers, with use of "J" type back to the boiler ,causing bad feeding and coking, such phenomenon has not been well soluted. The study on the "J" type back valve is as the main content, set up a cold test platform according to the prototype of Baotou NO.1 ThermalPowerPlant and to test.In this paper, a more generic approach to naming is adopted. Loop seal device is divided into supply chamber, recycle chamber, standpipe, overflow pipe and other components.Theloop seal we designed could be ajusted,such as the baffle height between the supply chamber and recycle chamber, the height between the supply chamber and recycle chamber.We can study the characteristics of return valve from the structure and operating parameters. After a pilot study, a feed back to the wind and the flow of room air balance between the pressure chamber has been established; feeding back state can be divided into three districts, namely, non-work area, legislation in possession of the work of the district level, legislation governing the work of non-material level areas.In accordance with changes in back pressure feeding system,raise the method how to identify that what kind of system is expected to return to the work area;and the the impact on pressure of feed system to,the height of recycle chamber to feed back state has been elaborated.In short, through the pilot study ,we have system understanding on the working principle, the impact of factors of "J"-type device. Based on these theories,we could finish the design, manufacture and operation .
