The vibration from the walking of the people on the pedestrian suspension bridge will not lead to destruction of the bridge as a whole, but if it is not carefully controlled, the vibration will be so intense that the pedestrians will have uncomfortable physiological and psychological feelings. In view of this, this paper carried out the following areas:1. Search domestic and foreign literature as well as national standards of comfort, so as to have a more detailed understanding of pedestrian load simulation, comfort evaluation methods, comfort level indicators and evaluation of national standards. All above mentioned will act as the basis for follow-up comfort study.2. Use finite element analysis software ANSYS to establish finite element model of the HuRi suspension bridge, and select the appropriate method to analyze the vibration characteristics of the structure, so as to grasp the dynamic performance of the structure and extract the corresponding data for later comfort evaluation studies.3. Set the pedestrian load on the ANSYS model of the HuRi suspension bridge, and extract the dynamic response of the model under load, and then analyze the received dynamic response in accordance with the national standards of comfort in order to evaluation the use of comfort of the HuRi suspension bridge, and through the analysis process, we will have a more in-depth comparison of the comfort standards.4. Analyze the vibration control theory and the parameter optimization method of the TMD, establish the ANSYS finite element model of TMD tuned mass dampers after the choice of the structural parameters, and lay it on the original model of the HuRi suspension bridge, and then evaluation the use of comfort of the HuRi suspension bridge with the TMD models. Comparing the results obtained with the previously calculated results, we can judge the applicability of TMD system in reducing the human-induced vibration of pedestrian suspension bridge.
