Due to the superiority of the pedestrian suspension bridge structure,the demand for the construction of pedestrian suspension bridges in natural scenic areas is increasing,and the span is also developing towards a large span.Structural vibration of pedestrian suspension bridges with large spans directly affects pedestrian comfort.This restricts the development of long-span pedestrian suspension bridges.In general,the vibration generated by the pedestrian load will not induce the overall damage of the suspension bridge,but if the bridge vibration is too large and the control is not in place,especially the over-large vibration response of the long-span pedestrian suspension bridge will be physiological and psychological for pedestrians.There is a sense of discomfort and even panic.How should we evaluate and control the vibration comfort of long-span pedestrian suspension bridges? At present,there is no uniform standard in China.Therefore,this paper takes the Qingshan Lake Pedestrian Suspension as an example to study the comfort evaluation method of the Pedestrian Suspension Bridge,and based on this as a basis to explore the comfort of the 800 m long-span Pedestrian Suspension Bridge and the control method.The following aspects of research work:1?This paper analyzes the characteristics of pedestrian load,establishes a periodic model of pedestrian load,summarizes the method of pedestrian comfort evaluation,and compares its practicality and rationality,and provides a reference for the establishment of a pedestrian comfort standard in the country.2?A finite element analysis model was established based on the Qingshanhu Pedestrian Suspension Bridge.Firstly,the initial equilibrium state of the completed bridge was subjected to force analysis to obtain the stress state of each component.Then,the bridge was analyzed under two different load conditions.In the final analysis of the deformation of the bridge,a dynamic analysis of the bridge was performed to obtain the dynamic performance of the full-bridge structure.The above analysis results were compared with the measured data to verify the correctness of the model and to prepare for the evaluation of the comfort of the pedestrians..3?Based on the relevant results of the above analysis,the relevant person comfort evaluation criteria were selected to evaluate the comfort in the vertical and horizontal directions of the Qingshanhu Pedestrian Suspension Bridge.4?Based on the Qingshanhu Pedestrian Suspension Bridge,the pedestrian comfort of 800 m long-span pedestrian suspension bridges is discussed.5?By changing the structure of the sling(such as:length,angle of inclination,spacing)on the structural comfort,the effectiveness of the through-type wind-resistant cable to improve the comfort of a special span pedestrian suspension bridge is also analyzed.The purpose of this paper is to hope that through the above research,we can provide some help for the formulation of the specification for the comfort control of suspension bridges in China,and verify the effectiveness of the through-type wind resistance cables for improving the comfort of suspension bridges with large spans.
