In our country, power supply of some remote area is difficult or more complex and power failure often occurs. In a situation of power failure, to ensure successful boating oars of wind generating set must have a good variable pitch system. In a situation of normal electricity supply in the system, the control of blades starting, the constant power control of higher than the rated wind speed and so on can not be separated from variable pitch control.The good or bad of variable pitch system affects wind generating set efficiency, safe operation and stable operation to a large extent.Wind energy is a green energy and wind power generation technology has also become a research hotspot from various countries'scholars.Compared with developed countries, China still has more gaps in large-scale wind turbine, variable pitch control and variable speed constant frequency wind power.With the stand-alone wind turbine capacity of large-scale, variable pitch control, a kind of wind power generation technology , is being more and more attention for its efficiency and practicality.Therefore, to carry out research on the variable pitch control system of wind turbine and its drive system has important significance.In this paper, the research for the control system begin with studying controller of variable pitch control system.First, wind turbine aerodynamics and variable pitch control process was discussed to provide theoretical studying basis for studying of the system design and control strategy. Secondly, it designes a kind of high precision and bipolar reversible wind power electric variable pitch structure of the system and each of these components are analyzed and designed including detailed description of the choice for the series excitation DC motor and SCM control of converter (H bridges) and series excited DC motor.This provides a theoretical basis for latter variable pitch design of hardware and software. At the same time it establishes mathematical model of dynamic structure for electric variable pitch system when the blades are in the case of limit load-the mathematical model of load for electric variable pitch system, single-loop electric variable pitch system and double-loop electric variable pitch system for speed.Then, it proposes the technology of combining fuzzy control and PID control for the system control.In the course of the study, it designes parameters of fuzzy self-tuning PID controller.The simulation result shows that compared with a single PID control the fuzzy PID controller improve the system's control effect, indicating the feasibility of this control method.Finally, the realization of hardware and software design of electric variable pitch control system provides a kind of proper stable variable pitch system when the wind machine is out of power or in the normal operation.
