Main tasks of path planning for virtual endoscopy is the center of the path on how to complete the extraction of the lumen, in order to quickly and accurately simulate the endoscopy automatic navigation, a primary task is to first extract the organ lumen centerline to guide the camera depending on head movement, navigation path is a simulation of the camera, as the first glimpse of the scene inside the movement and access to an important basis for the image.In this paper, virtual endoscopy system, the path planning, combined with fast distance transform and maximum spanning tree method, is proposed based on the boundary center path from the field of automatic extraction algorithm that extracts the center of the path can be directly applied to the simulation within the endoscope system; same time, the design of an interactive automatic navigation mode, so that simulation of the camera, as the first did not walk the path of this center to achieve in the lumen of human organs in the simulation of endoscopic navigation.
