With the quick development of traffic business, the role and application of tunnel engineering in traffic engineering becomes more and more important. Highway tunnel construction has some major characteristic such as big hidden, strong circulation of working, limited working space, high working comprehensive, bad working environment, big working risk and as the result of dynamic construction, it may cause the status of rock mechanics and the property of physical mechanics to change, so it is a complicated human-machine-environment system. All of these decide that highway tunnel construction consists of the traits which are much dangerous source, wide range, complicated effect factors and difficult identification. At present, as to the highway mountain tunnel construction whose major hazard is not dangerous substance, it lack the definite definition and identification methods of major construction hazard, so it affects the tunnel construction members to carry on the management of major hazard. The study on the definition of major hazard and identification standard in highway mountain tunnel construction, the control and management of major construction hazard effective, is the urgent need to carry on the safety management of highway mountain tunnel construction.Currently highway mountain tunnel construction has the questions that the definition of major hazard is very vague, the methods of identification if very lack, aiming to these, this thesis made research on identification methods of major construction hazard. Through making use of risk of hazard to be threshold of discerning major hazard, it proposed the identification methods of major hazard in highway mountain tunnel, built recognition factor and recognition model. First, according to relevant regulations such as Construction Safety Management Regulations promulgated by state department, Road and Water Construction of Major Hazard Management Approach promulgated by ministry of transport and so on, referring the principle of Dangerous Chemical Major Hazard Identification (GB18218-2009),clear the definition of highway tunnel construction major hazard. Second, making use of risk to measure the threshold of major hazard, build recognition factor and recognition model of major hazard in highway tunnel construction. Finally, applying the identification methods of major hazard in highway mountain tunnel construction, identify the major hazard of the item that called Beijing Mentougou conversion Village 108 State Highway Tunnel engineer, and test the scientific and practical use.This thesis mainly researched on the definition of major hazard in highway mountain tunnel construction, and the identification methods which was based on risk, besides, it built the identification model of major construction hazard. This is a new quest in the aspect of major hazard identification in tunnel engineering, the identification results provided foundation for the management of major hazard, it can help engineering members to carry on safety work better.This thesis combined the western science and technology item which is Study on Major Hazard Identification, Evaluation Technology in Road and Water Engineering.
