CDZ20A with platform fire engines (ladder fire engines) is a new product which is developed based on mature product of CDZ series, the reference to domestic and foreign advanced technology and the consideration about China's specific situation. The overall hydraulic drive is used in the system and 360°rotation is achieved. With complete security protection devices, the system can be operated in the table but also on the platform.This paper summarizes the development of aerial apparatus at home and abroad. In view of giant platform vehicles operating at considerable working height, large working scope and the complex working situation of the frame and arm structure, the structural parameter design is presented to solve the problem of complex and inaccurate calculation of working condition and force analysis. To this end, the parametric mathematic model based on mechanics and parametric software design and realization is addressed in this paper.Due to the complex, changeable and emergency situation of fire scene, for improving the automation of equipments and reducing the demands of operation and man-made accidents, the control principle of applying electro-hydraulic servo system of automatically leveling is studied in the dissertation, and the electro-hydraulic control system realizing the four leg automatic lift-and-descend leveling is designed and developed.CDZ20A aerial apparatus produced in Liaoning Fushun is the object of the research. Firstly, in the design process, with the effective change of the parameters, improvement in series-products structural design and efficiency are realized. Secondly, to make up for the inadequate analysis of Parametric software, ANSYS FEM analysis in the main structure of a static and buckling is carried out in the paper, and reasonable calculation method and conclusions of the vehicle structure is presented to make apparatus structure design optimum. Finally, the operating systems which automatically level four legs is developed and the action of stretching and leveling legs is completed with one button operation. So the reliability of equipment is improved and operation time is decreased. The automation of starting and retracting, which enhances working efficiency and reduces human-factor accidents, is very important to fire fighting and rescue.
