In the construction machinery industry, with the homogenization of product technology, technology is no longer as a major means of brand competition as a few years ago. In such a background, product modeling changes, and changes of cab interior have became The main direction of product differentiation of Construction Machinery, shape and interior design is also becoming a major competition means between big company. As the customer's increasingly demanding of the cab interior aesthetic, the companies invest more and more money in the cab interior design. mechanical engineering experts have done a lot of research on engineering machinery appearance, and now has formed a number of kinds of sophisticated design method. However, It's a domestic blank on construction machinery cab interior Evaluation.when Companies evaluate new product appearance, they don't have a valid quantitative method, when the Judging Panel for the evaluation of the program design is inconsistent, the assessment will lead to failure.In this paper, an evaluation method of construction machinery cab interior based on eye movement is proposed.The method uses eye tracking system as a tool for collecting assessment information, and collected information of personnel evaluation on interest regions, such as fixation time, fixation times, time to first fixation and other information, by processing the information we can obtain evaluation data we need. The processes of the engineering machinery evaluation maethod based on the eye-movement test is as follow:First, according to business requirements to determine the evaluation of projects and a make sure of assessment objectives; second, by the analysis of the design objectives, preparing test material and divide it to sevral interest region; then organizations staff of Evaluation to participate in eye movement test, as the analysis of the data be obtained, the final results are also got. The principle of preparing the test material, the principle of the interest region division and the principle of the test data processing are detailed introduced in this article.And it also introduced the method of analysis of test data uses the software spss for windows 13.0 and eye movement system.To validate the feasible of the evaluation method, in Chapter 4 through contrast with other methods of evaluation, carried out a feasibility study of this evaluation.Evaluation results show that:when tested in the loader cab interior view photos,The mechanical engineering expert with related engineering experience have significant differences from inexperienced groups in fixation time, fixation times, which means that The mechanical engineering expert with related engineering experience have significant differences from inexperienced groups in which they attention of cab interior elements; different observe perspectives have also an important impact in in fixation time, fixation times and time to first when they concerned the interest region.
