With the rapid development of science, technology and urban construction, the expanding of human interaction space, people also have higher requirements about the quality and style of living environment, channels of communication and way of life.Public facilities as the important nodes in the city space environment, not only reflects the degree of civilization of the city, the extent of society opening, but also presents the city's local culture and spirit.However, in the design and construction of urban public facilities, there is still a large gap between China and the developed countries, massive problems and deficiencies are in the systematicity of design, the manifest of culturality regional.and the amenity., so we can see a large number of single function and rigid shape public facilities in the city streets.In the contect of'Great changes within three years" about the citys and towns of Hebei province, the design of Shijiazhuang urban public facilities as the main research direction, this thesis focuses on these questions, firstly, analyzes and discusses the domestic and foreign situation of urban public facilities design, the history, classification and characteristics of the urban public facilities development, then induces the concept, objectives and principles of the urban public facilities design; secondly, analyzes the problems of urban public facilities design in the city of Shijiazhuang, provides support and guidance in theory to the design of public facilities in Shijiazhuang, combines with the natural environment culture factors, history and other social environmental factors of Shijiazhuang, applies to the Shijiazhuang urban public facilities design and planning; finally, the public facilities in Zhongshan Road, Shijiazhuang City as the specific research and design objects, brings forward ideas and suggestions for improvement of the design of public facilities in Shijiazhuang city, emphasis from the systematic, regional culture, product amenity, ecology and other aspects.This paper aims mainly to improve public facilities in Shijiazhuang city design quality and artistic standards, provides a design concept and ideas to urban planners and designers, so we can upgrade and beautify the city, improve the urban taste, increase awareness of the city's identity and sense of purpose close.
