Closed loop operation is the effective measures to improve power supply reliability in the distribution network. However, the co-existence of voltage difference on both sides of the buses with the closed loop, it may cause excessive production of closed loop current, which greatly exceeded the limits to be damage the power supply equipments, even leads to the power relaying to operate in mistake in the closed loop circuit This action may resulting in a wider power failure, thus affecting the power safety and stability. In order to provide assistance to the dispatcher to be able to make decisions, this paper focuses the closed loop operation in the distribution network as the contents of the core ring of co-operation and coordination between power relaying. Coordination strategies are proposed. The typical data of substation operation is calculated to combine the central point of contact switches, and the principle of setting are given for the decrease in Baotou electric networks. An example of the actual substation in Baotou can verify the effectiveness of the strategy, the results show that can raise the stability in the regional power grid operator together with the guide ring.
