Fans and pumps are widely used in power industry. Huge power is consumed by them and much energy is wasted. If the speed adjustment technology is popularization, large benefits will be achieved.In this paper, many kinds of speed adjustable technologies for High-voltage, high-power induction motor-driven fan and pumps are analyzed. According to the situation of our country, among these methods, the cascade speed control technology in the side of the rotor and high-pressure vary frequency control technology in the side of stator are generally considered as two relatively better programs, so the two kinds of speed control technologies will be deeply studied in this paper. According to the application situation for speed adjustment technologies in Condensate System in a power plant, the effects of their energy saving are analyzed by the two speed control technologies. At last, the programs of energy saving for auxiliary equipment are brought forward, which supplies a reference for power plants.
