In order to reduce energy consumption, especially those big power consumption devices as pump and fan at low working load. Huaneng Qufu power plant first studied the methods to energy saving of the electrical equipment, and then investigated lots of situations of other power plant which have done energy saving reform, eventually adopted transforming frequency energy saving way to reform pump and fan whose energy saving space were big and the results are well.Reformed fans include # 1 and # 2 draft fan and blowers, which respectively induced two fans. The reformation scheme of energy saving to draft fan and blowers is same, that is building a room laying transducer and bypass knife switch, and installed air-condition to cool the transducer. In order to save air-condition, installed pipe to discharge the hot air that the transducer caused. The coupler between fan motor and fan was dismantled, pouring the anchor bolts instead. Access the regulating function of transducer and the hearth negative feedback signal to DCS control system. Using DCS system, automatic and manual adjustment of transducer frequency is done, and then realized automatic and manual control of fan rev and air volume. Protecting, surveillance, and chain signal are also accessed to DCS control system. For the reform of the condensate pump, one transducer is used to drag two pumps, The regulating function of ransducer and feedback signal of deaerator water level also access to DCS system control.After the reform, the system runs smoothly, transducer operate expediently, and is no apparent negative effect. For economic benefit, take # 2 furnace draft fan for example, the power saving rate reach up to 47.9%, the standalone fan reduces used plant power 0.512%, economize 1652.3 thousand yuan every year calculated according as then electrovalence, and 2.1 years can take back the input. So the results of reform are well and successful.
