With the development of the world economy and increasing of energy consumption, energy crisis and environmental pollution have become hot issues in the world, so it is great of significance for human to develop and make use of the renewable energy. At present, although solar adsorption refrigeration research has achieved initial results, its commercial operation is still in a long way, this mainly due to its long cycle of operation, low coefficiency, higher costs, and generally uncontinuous cooling performance. Basing on the analysis of international researches of solar adsorption refrigeration, this article studies a core component of solar adsorption refrigeration: adsorption bed through numerical simulation and computation to get the optimization model, the main content is that:This article makes use of the theory of heat and mass transfer in porous media to analyze and simplify the analysis, and the author setted up a physical and mathematical model. This article also used the model to analyze the effects of the different displacement of the heat transfer pipes in the adsorption bed to the cooling process.Second, the Matlab soft ware was used to compute the changes of the whole day temperature, pressure and SCP with time. The results showed that, the highest SCP of the common used adsorption bed didn't appear with the highest sun radiation, and it appeared after the highest sun radiation. Compared the SCP of the adsorption bed under isochoric and isobaric process, it comes to a conclusion that the isochoric process is better. In addition to this, grid is setted up by mathematical toolbox of Matlab soft ware, mathematical model equations were discretized using implicit difference scheme, a reasonable thickness of the adsorption bed is determined according to numerical solution, and get the effects of the displacement of the heat pipes to the adsoption and desorption process and get the best location of the heat transfer pipe. The highest SCP appears when the angle of inclination is 0.25rad. Based on the results, the selection of other refrigeration equipments, which together with the modified model, form an improved cycle cooling system of solar energy.this article established a adsorption refrigeration cycle.
