At present,the energy and environmental issues have been increasingly prominent,and become a hot topic of global concern.Energy saving and environmental protection are the two major advantages of the adsorption refrigeration technology,it has a broader development potential than the traditional vapor compression refrigeration.Adsorption refrigeration technology uses environmentally-friendly natural refrigerants and low grade hot source,and has the advantage of simple structure,no large-scale moving parts,no noise,anti-vibration,low running costs etc.It was attached importance by the academic community.In this paper,we have design and made a new type of adsorbent bed by the theoretical calculation and simulation analysis,and then built adsorption refrigeration system to do the experiment and numerical simulation studies,the major work: Described the status and theoretical studies of adsorption refrigeration part,selected the activated carbon-methanol as the working fluids of absorption refrigeration system;took a theoretical calculation on the adsorption refrigeration system,designed a new type of adsorbent bed,and the various components of the system design calculations and selection,built adsorption refrigeration test system;made a numerical simulation about the heat transfer on the adsorption bed using ANSYS-CFX to analyze the affect on the structure of the adsorption bed for heat transferring and verified by the experiment;made experimental study on activated carbon-methanol adsorption refrigeration system and analyze the main parameters affecting the change on the performance of the system.Experimental study results show that: the desorption temperature of the adsorption bed has a great impact on the performance the entire system,when the temperature was low,the desorpt amount of methanol was very small,and it would increase rapidly with the desorption temperature rising.The SCP of adsorption bed,the system's cooling capacity and COP increased along with the evaporation temperature and desorption temperature,but contrary with the condensation temperature.At the desorption temperature of 90 ?,evaporation temperature of 0 ?,condensing temperature of 30 ?,the SCP,the cooling capacity and COP were maximum,19.2W/Kg,2.88 kW,0.08.In this paper,we complete to cool down the cold storage by the refrigeration system,and make use of adsorption refrigeration technology to the traditional field of refrigeration and frozen,to achieve the adsorption refrigeration system of large-scale,low-temperature applications.
