With the continuous progress of human civilization, people are enjoying unprecedented spiritual and material life, but also felt the adverse effects caused by energy crisis and environmental crisis. At present, China vigorously promote energy conservation, low carbon economy, the use of electric vehicles has become a transport development trend in 21st century. However, the development of batteries and chargers of electric vehicles still can not meet the practical requirements, both in theory and technology need to be research.This thesis is based on the mechanism of lead-acid battery charging and the research of related charging technology, introduces the development process of an intelligent energy-saving fast charging device. It overcomes many shortcomings of the existing charging devices, for example, a simple means of charging, charging time is long, serious waste of energy in the process of charging. It is an energy-efficient, intelligent fast charging device, suitable for battery characteristics.About the device, on the design of energy saving, first of all, to improve switching power supply of the traditional charger, reduced the large energy-consumption components of circuit, designed a new type of battery charging power structure. Secondly, make use of energy storage capacitors for depolarizing pulse energy recovery in the process of charge, and charging the energy back to the previous level capacitor intermittently.Fast charge in respect, determined a fast charging technology named voltage-controlled energy-feedback pulse charge. High current pulse charging while adding discharge pulse, effectively reduced the batteries polarization produced by the process of fast charging, increased the ability to accept the current, thereby speeding up the charging rate.On the intelligent design of the device, can set the charge pulse amplitude, frequency, duty cycle and other parameters neatly, and according to voltage and current amount, automatically adjusts the charging pulse parameters to achieve the change to a different charging voltage and charging current stage, so as to achieve an adaptive fast charge mode. In addition, the device includes a battery internal resistance online detection module, real-time detection of changes in battery internal resistance is one of the bases of adjusting charge mode.This thesis also designed a series of experiments to verify the performance of the device. This research project targeted to product development, with high practical significance and application value.
