Nowadays, high-power AC drive technology becomes more and more widely used in the transit traction system and traction assist system of urban rail transportation. During the research and design period of urban rail transportation transit traction system and traction assist system, we should design experiment test system to monitor the performance of inverter,the performance of induction motor and so on. We should design experiment test system to test the performance of the whole system.The experiment test system which based on the twin inverter-motor reciprocal power-fed test rig is one of the most advanved and poplur test methods of AC drive. Test System achieves the test task with twin inverter-motor reciprocal power-fed test rig.The paper describes the principle and composition of test system. Based on the composition and principle, the test system is proposed.We determine the test content based on the experimental test area. The test system design program is proposed.Test system includes simulation driving controller, measuring devices and monitoring software. Simulation driving controller includes hardware simulation and software simulation. Measuring devices complete data collection, data processing, data communications and other tasks of test system.Measuring equipments include sensor, signal detection circuit, data communication circuit and anti-interference design.Measurement devices use Ethernet to transfer the experiment data to PC monitoring software.PC-based monitoring software includes monitoring software based on Labview and traction calculation software based on VB.The paper describes the design process of the software.Finally, the paper gives the design results and the actual effect of the test system.The experiment results show us that the test system of this paper realized the function fully.The experimental test system realized the urban rail transit system test tasks.The system complete the test requirements.When we apply the test system in 100% low-floor vehicles and Metro, the system runs well. So, it reaches the desired goal.The test system achieves the desired objectives.
