More and more precise instruments required highly for the input power source especially the accuracy of AC regulated power source along with the development of the science. As a result of supply and demand contradiction in the public power supply, network voltage is unstable and remote areas are in long-term undervoltage. Traditional AC regulated power source is basically belong to dissipation of energy. This kind of supply has some idiopathic shortages. For example big size, high cost, low efficiency, high distortion of sine wave, slow respond speed, low voltage stabilized accuracy and so on.In the view of above conditions, this paper designs an AC regulated power source in compensation mode based on dual PWM converters(PWM rectifier and inverter). The main circuit consists mainly of net side PWM rectifier, the AC filter inductance, support filter capacitance, inverter, inverter output filter, compensationtransformer. Application of PWM rectifier instead of diode rectifier which is not controlled reduces the harmonic pollution to power grid and achieves bidirection flow of energy. The use of compensation transformer makes the circuit not to undertake all the output power, thereby reducing the cost of hardware. IGBT is used as the switching device. The top management chip that this system adopts is TMS320LF2407. Through the control of the DC bus voltage and inverter output voltage, stabilize the load output voltage.Based on the working condition of circuit, calculate main component parameters. Introduce the PWM control technology, analyze the work principle of PWM rectifier and inverter. PWM rectifier uses prediction current control method, Inverter adopts voltage and current dual closed-loop control. Control system of hardware and software are designed respectively.This paper uses MATLAB to verify the correction of the circuit. The results of simulations prove that this power supply design in this paper is reasonable and simple in structure. It has reached a high level and got satisfying compensation effect. In addition, through the analysis of experimental data, this circuit has high power factor, low harmonic, fast respond speed, bidirection flow of energy. It can achieve higher voltage stabilized accuracy and can meet common and precise requirements.
