According to unstable voltage caused by fluctuations of network voltage, long-term undervoltage in remote areas, and the issues that a number of high-precision instruments and equipment require high stability power supply, AC regulated power supply based on compensation is selected in this thesis by analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of various power supplies. Compared to other power supplies with the same capacity, the capacity of the components in main circuit of regulated power supply based on series compensation is much less, significant cost savings and reducing equipment's weight and volume.In this thesis, an AC regulated power supply in compensation mode based on dual PWM converters is introduced. The main circuit topology and in which the single phase voltage source rectifier(VSR) and single phase full-bridge voltage source inverter are discussed in detail, about main circuit components and parameters terms, the working principle and control strategies.Application of PWM rectifier instead of diode rectifier which is not controlled reduces the harmonic pollution to power grid and achieves bidirection flow of energy. Due to VSR, the prediction current control belonged to the direct current control method with a fixed switching frequency can improve current response. Voltage and current dual closed-loop control can ensure a stable DC voltage and AC current tracking network voltage. Outer PI voltage regulator and inner proportional current regulator are used. Inverter's output voltage that is series-wound with network voltage achieves stable output voltage, and a single closed-loop PI voltage regulator is applied and the feedback is the output voltage RMS.Simulation of the power supply with Matlab / Simulink verifys the designed parameters and control strategy and optimization is done. For the performance and characteristics of DSP TMS320LF2407A and its peripheral resources, the design of software is completed and digital control is achieved. Results of simulation and experiments primarily verify that initial design specifications are meeted and it's ready for further practical use.
