Study Of Taoism Temple Architecture In Jiangxi Province

This paper combines with the research status of Taoist temple architecture, takes Jiangxi Taoist temple building as the research object, studies origin and development of the Taoist temple constructions in Jiangxi, then select the Taoist Master House in Dragon and Tiger Mountain as specific case to study, finally, this paper tries to indicate Jiangxi Taoist temple constructions' characteristics in depth during its process of developing.Jiangxi Taoist temple architecture can be divided into three main periods during its development process:Tang Dynasty and before Tang dynasty was the initial development period; Song Dynasty was the peak of Jiangxi Taoist temple architecture's development; In Yuan Dynasty and early period of Ming Dynasty, Jiangxi Taoist temple architecture had certain development, then in the late Ming Dynasty and Qing Dynasty gradually declinedThis paper believes that during its process of developing, Jiangxi Taoist temple architecture formed its characteristics:Its development, distribution have a certain relationship with Taoism cultural environment in Jiangxi province, its development is off balance between different regions, its layout, landscape design, site selection has been influenced doubly by Chinese traditional architecture thought and Taoism thought.
