With the vigorous development of auto industry, automotive engine becomes one of the most concerned part. It is necessary for ensuring automobile normally and safely running and improving the maintence quality and efficiency of engine to monitor non-disintegration state and diagnose fault in the working process of engine.The analysis and research of engine cylinder pressure and transient speed is the important method to obtain the working condition and breakdown reason of engine. The acquisition system integrated with sensors, data acquisition, signal and conversion is the main way to obtain engine cylinder pressure and transient speed signal. The main working methods of the system are as follows:(1) Acquiring data collections of engine cylinder pressure and transient speed by piezoelectric quartz crystal pressure sensor, magnetoelectric speed sensor and USB data acquisition card etc;(2) Having rapid heat release analysis, transient speed calculation, power measurements on the collected data;(3) Analyzing the combustion conditions, work conditions and fault part of the engine in-cylinder from the test results.The research and development of Vehicle Engine Fault-diagnosis Analysis System of this dissertation has features of strong currency, portable, multi-functions, convenient operations, high precision judgment and analysis etc. The system not only can be applied to the general engine condition monitoring and fault diagnosis, but can be applied to a further study of scientific experiments.
